1. What is distance learning system? |

| Distance learning system via IC, provides high quality, updated collegiate courses that are designed to provide an exciting and meaningful educational experience, where you have no need to attend classes and you will be provided by the necessary assistance. |

2. What does “Accreditation” mean? |
|
| |
| The word “Accreditation” has acquired many shades of meaning over the years. Distance education accreditation is certification by a recognized body that a distance education institution has voluntarily undergone a comprehensive study and peer examination that has demonstrated that the institution does in fact meets the established standards |

3. Is IC accredited? |
|
| |
| International Council Inc. has made many collaboration agreements with worldwide educational institutions to provide the best educational service possible for adult Arab students |

4. How does studying through IC work? |
|
| |
| Attending our virtual campus, you study all the required materials at your own. A discussion session is set in your home country after submitting all reports required; this session is to show that what you have submitted is really your work. |

5. How do I register? |
|
| |
| Distance learning via International Council is a semester based educational experience that helps you perform all graduation requirements without affecting your work, personal and other aspects of life. For further information please refer to “Registration Info”.
Students should register during the month before a term starts; Even though you can register at any other time but pay the late registration fee= 100$. |

6. When does the semester begin? |
|
| |
| Registration happens twice a year; the first is for joining Fall term which starts October of each year, and the second is to join Spring term that starts in March. |

7. How long does it take to complete a degree? |
|
| |
| You can complete your degree as soon as you submit all your graduation requirements. |
|
|
| |
8. How many credits can I take per semester? |
|
| |
| There is minimum but no maximum number of credits a student can take within a semester. Bachelor 9, Masters 6, and PHD 6. |

9. What majors do you offer? |
|
| |

|
| |
10. What languages do you offer? |
|
| |
| Language is no more a problem; you can study in English, French or Arabic. |

11. How do I get my required courses? |
|
| |
| After submitting all your registration requirements, a committee will study your previous learning experience and then provide you with the remaining course to be taken. |

12. Do you award credits for life or career experience? |
|
| |
| A part of required credits toward any degree is reduced by your prior experience and/or learning; whether you've gained this from work, seminars, workshops, training, voluntary missions, etc…
After you submit all required documents for registration (please refer to registration page), a committee will study your portfolio and issue a vision for you |

13. Do I need a text book? |
|
| |
| Yes, you will need a text book in order to write a report summarizing the main points of each of the required courses. Assessment is primarily based on the reports done. |

14. How do I order text books? |
|
| |
| You can buy them from any local or online bookshop or you can ask us to buy them and forward them to you by mail |
|
|
| |
15. Will I have to travel to attend classes? And where can I submit my exams? |
|
| |
| No formal exams are to be done, but to write a report summarizing the main points of each of the required courses. Assessment is primarily based on the reports done. A discussion session is set in your home country after submitting all reports required; this session is to show that what you have submitted is really your work. So there is no need for traveling or even attending classes. |

16. Can I do more than one major at a time? |
|
| |
| Yes you can register for more than one major at once, so you will not study any common course twice. |
|
|

17. Is there any application and registration fee? |
|
| |
| Yes there are application and registration fees compatible to your degree, please refer to Tuitions and fees. |
|
|

18. How is my tuition determined? |
|
| |
| TUITION Expenses are set per credit; please refer to tuition and fees. |
|

19. Are there any other fees to students other than tuition? |
|
| |
| There are other fees added concerning graduation, books, late payments, etc. Please refer to Tuition and Fees. |

20. Is financial aid available? |
|
| |
| Any student would ask for a financial help in budgeting his program expenses. Tuition discounts available for needy students. Less than 10% of the students applied for scholarships are granted this discount. Graduate students have a greater chance to get discounts on their program expenses if qualify to available vacancies as academic advisors to undergraduate students. Contact us for more details. |

21. How do I pay my fees? |
|

| You have three ways for payment either by western union or by personal transferring to the bank or by exchange. Contact us for more details. |

22. How do I get a refund? |
|
| |
| New students are able to understand all requirement and liabilities prior to certifying registration at IC. Hence when ever you certify registration, no refund is possible. |
|
|

23. How do I request a transcript? |
|
| |
| Students records are kept at the council’s headquarter for a minimum period of fifteen years, during this period any student can ask for an additional copy of any of his graduation documents. |
|
|
| |
24. Do I get a student card? |
|
| |
| As you certify your registration, your ID card will be forwarded to you with other admission documents within fifteen working days. |
|
|
| |
25. Who would a student contact if has additional questions? |
|
| |

26. Must I wait for a special time or ceremony to graduate and receive my degree? |
|

| No, you can graduate and receive your degree as soon as you submit all your academicals and payment requirements |

27. When I get my degree, will it mention the “online” phrase? |

| The degree you will get from our council will not mention the phrase “online” |

28. How do I pay for the cost of the books? |
|

29. What is the cost of books delivery? |
|

30. Do I have to buy all the books at once? |
|
| |
| You can either buy them all at once or each three together. |

31. Can I get my degree authenticated? |
|
| |
Any student can ask to get a copy of his degree sealed from:
• Notary public.
• Secretary of state of California.
• Department of state (American Ministry of foreign affairs).
• His country of birth or of work embassy in Washington D.C.(terms apply). |
